Breakfast Club
We run a breakfast club at school everyday from 8am to the start of the school day. This club is run by school staff and is open for pupils in all year groups.
Our breakfast club runs as a drop-in service. You do not need to book spaces ahead of time, simply turn up on the day! For pupils with special educational or medical needs please speak to a member of staff prior to attending to ensure the appropriate staff members are present.

You may have heard about the government's 'Free Breakfast for All Scheme'. This is being trialled in 750 schools across England from April 2025 and we are not part of the trial. It is not yet clear how this will be rolled out nationally. We already run our Breakfast Club in a way that supports our most disadvantaged families, and we currently offer Breakfast Club at a very low fee to all parents, subsidised by the school budget, to keep this accessible for everyone. We also run this on a drop in basis so that parents have maximum flexibility. There is no need to book a place in advance, which many other schools require.
We also have the flexibility to offer Breakfast Club free to a small group of parents, where this might help improve a child's attendance, or where parents really need this service and are struggling financially. We ask parents to have a confidential chat with the Headteacher or Breakfast Club staff if they are in need of support like this.
